cordy, you reign
you know the type beautiful, rich, knows just how to work a room, pretty smile, acid tongue, the girl everybody loves to hate. Meet Cordelia Chase circa high school she was the prettiest, most popular, most self assured, cruel cheerleader Sunnydale High ever had the privilege of educating! Initially ignorant of the supernatural Cordy tried to befriend the pretty new blonde girl because she fit the look of her kind of people, but as soon as Cor figured out that mocking nerds like Willow Rosenberg and jack offs like Xander Harris wasn't Buffy's cup of tea well, that friendship went the way of the dodo's quicker then parachute pants and lycra! For a while Cordelia doesn't play a major role in the happenings of the soon to be scooby gang, simply runs the school as always, paying them no mind unless it's to toss a humility their way not until one of her tormentees decided to pull a kevin bacon and go all invisible, psycho, and revenge seeking. This not only brought to light the social issues but showed Cordelia that things truly do go bump in the night and that pretty new blonde girl? Kicked their asses. Only instead of causing awe it made Cordelia hate Buffy worse, blaming her for epidemic of the fang gang that was in SunnyD swearing up and down their hadn't been any before she road into town! By the end of that school year however Cordelia isn't 100% in denial as she had been and even manages to help the scoobys battle the forces of darkness, not fully, but enough to be able to at least call her a frienmy!
By the next school year however Cordelia had became almost integrated into the Scoobies especially once her relationship with that once jerk off turned dorky cute Xander Harris took root.
